Every subscription begins with a 7-day free trial. A payment method is required to start the trial, but you are not charged during it. Cancel any time before the trial ends and you are never charged. The trial is your chance to evaluate the entire product at no cost.
Because you get a full 7 days to use the entire product for free before you pay, annual subscription payments are non-refundable once the trial ends and the charge is made. If you no longer want Petrel, you can cancel any time to stop it from renewing.
We do make exceptions for genuine billing problems. If you were charged in error, charged twice, or believe there has been a mistake, email hello@petrelvoyage.com within 14 days and we will put it right. Where a refund is required by the consumer-protection law of your country, that right still applies, and Paddle, our Merchant of Record, handles it.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account or by emailing hello@petrelvoyage.com. When you cancel, your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and it does not renew after that.
