Delete your Petrel Voyage account

Applies to the Petrel Voyage app (iOS, Android, and web) by Petrel Voyage LLC.

You can delete your account and its data yourself, from inside the app, at any time. Deletion is immediate and permanent. We cannot restore a deleted account.

If you can no longer sign in, email hello@petrelvoyage.com from the address on the account with the subject "Delete my account". We verify the request against that address and run the same deletion.

What is deleted

Deleting your account immediately and permanently removes:

• Your account, sign-in passkeys, sessions, and forwarding addresses
• All trips and itineraries, including your seat on trips other people shared with you
• Every document you imported: booking confirmations, boarding passes, tickets, and receipts
• Photos, travel log places, and vault items
• Notification and device push registrations, and the Gmail connection token if you had one

What is kept

Payment transaction records are retained for accounting and tax compliance, with your email address removed from them at deletion. They no longer identify you by anything except an internal reference used to reconcile against our payment processor. If you answer the optional exit survey when deleting, those answers are kept for product improvement with the account identifier removed, so they cannot be linked to you. Nothing else is kept.

Deleting some data without closing the account

You can delete any individual trip in the app, which also removes the documents and receipts attached to it. For anything more specific, email hello@petrelvoyage.com and we will handle it.
